چکیده

Increase in world population has led to more energy demand. Therefore, there is need for utilization of green and renewable energy. Dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) based on TiO2 have attracted a lot attention as an alternative source compared current silicon technology. In this study, thin films were deposited doped fluorine tin oxide layer (FTO) glass substrates using sol-gel doctor blading technique. The annealed at different rates (1step, 2°C/min 1°C/min) up temperature 450°C followed by sintering 30 minutes. UV-VIS spectrophotometry was employed probe the absorbance reflectance films. It found that, optical parameters, such reflectance, real (ε1) imaginary (ε2) parts dielectric constant, skin depth, Urbach gap; all depend annealing rate. depth samples visible region increase from 6.319 x 10-5 11.968 cm-1 due annealing. Optical band (Eg) decreased 5.04eV film 4.35eV rate 1°C/min direct allowed 2.76 2.56 eV indirect transitions. tails weak absorption with energies (Eu) range 432-505 meV This used account disorder An inverse relation between result reported.

Effect of the Sulfur Concentration on the Optical Band Gap Energy and Urbach Tail of Spray-Deposited ZnS Films

Zinc sulfide (ZnS) films were deposited through a simple and low cost spray pyrolytic technique using mixed aqueous solutions of zinc nitrate and thiourea. The structural and optical properties of these films were investigated as a function of initial (Zn:S) molar ratio in the precursor solution, which varied between (1:1) and (1:3). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that wurtzite...

Effects of Annealing and Thickness on the Structural and Optical Properties of Crystalline ZnS Thin Films Prepared by PVD Method

Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) thin films were deposited on glass substrates at the pressure of 10-6 mbar by thermal resistor evaporation technique. The effects of annealing on the structural, optical properties of ZnS films were studied. Crystalline ZnS films have been analyzed by X-ray diffraction. Only cubic phase with the preferred (111) plane was found in ZnS films. Optical characteristics were studie...

Energy band correction due to one dimension tension in phosphorene

Among graphene-like family, phosphorene is a typical semiconducting layered material, which can also be a superconductor in low temperature. Applying pressure or tension on phosphorene lattice results in changing the hopping terms, which change the energy bands of the material. In this research we use the tight-binding Hamiltonian, including relevant hopping terms, to calculate energy bands of ...
